although I ask for help in riddles, it is clearer in my mind
"it is not that we should think less of ourselves, but that we should think of ourselves less."
This quote is from girl meets nyc, a blog which is probably the best I've ever seen. I really love this picture of Susie Bubble.

the eye in the sky is watching your every move

Dear Lord, could knitwear become any more fascinating? It's certainly hard to imagine. Also, the girl's facial expression amuses me. photo: sandra backlung via style bubble.
In other news, I got my school grades for the first quarter back yesterday. They're pretty satisfactory:
A+ in percussion ensemble
A+ in wind ensemble
A- in French
A- in American literature honors
B+ in debate
B- in chemistry
B- in algebra II
Also yesterday, I saw family force five, play radio play!, danger radio, & ultraviolet sound at House of Blues in Chicago. Danger radio was probably my favorite, along with prp!... even if only because during the majority of ff5, I couldn't see/was being dragged down by my hair/was squashed to pieces.

Everything about this, from the shoes to the coat to his expression & posture screams adorable to me. Even his ever-so-slightly-messed-up hair adds to the effect. photo from styleclicker.net.

The prick of a feather could make a kingdom burn
"We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in own homes to remedy this kind of poverty"
